Abstract
Passenger interest is something that arises after receiving a stimulus from the service he sees, from there arises an interest in trying the service until finally the desire to buy it arises in order to have it. PT. Dharma Lautan Utama is a company that serves sea transportation and short and long distance crossings throughout Indonesia. This study aims to determine the effect of service quality, waiting time, price rates and facilities on passenger interest in using KM services. Dharma Rucitra I destination Banjarmasin - Surabaya. The population in this study were KM Passengers. Dharma Rucitra I Destination Banjarmasin - Surabaya and the sample used in this study were 100 respondents. The sampling technique used is non- probability sampling incidental sampling type, then the data is analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of (software) Statistical Package For Social Science (SPSS) Version 25. The regression formulation in this study is as follows: Y = -0.837 + 0.278X1 + 0.232X2 + 0.298X3 + 0.249X4 + µ From this equation, it is known that the most dominant variable affecting passenger interest is the price fare variable with a regression coefficient of 0.298. The R2 (R Square) test obtained results of 0.562 or 56.2%, which means that passenger interest is influenced by the variables of service quality, waiting time, price rates and facilities, which are 56.2% and other factors that affect the interest of KM passengers. Dharma Rucitra I for Banjarmasin - Surabaya is 43.8%. Keywords: passenger interest, quality of service, waiting time, fares, prices and facilities
