Abstract
This research was conducted at TanjungIntan Port, Cilacap. This study uses the role of porters, loading and unloading equipment, port operating costs, and speed of service time as independent variables, port performance as the dependent variable. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of the porter's role, loading and unloading equipment at TanjungIntan Port, Cilacap. The sample used is the Port Authority Office and Class II Cilacap Port where the number of samples set in this study were 65 respondents with the sampling technique in this study using Simple Random Sampling. The analysis used includes validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing, partial t test, coefficient of determination, and managerial implications. The results of the analysis using the SPSS (Statistical Product And Service Solutions) program version 25 obtained multiple linear regression equations Y = -2,020+ 0,272 X1, + 0,273 X2 + 0,274 X3 +0,330 X4 +µ. The multiple linear regression equation shows that there is a positive and significant influence between the Port Authority's Role on Port Performance tcount (2.464) >ttable (1.99962), Loading and Unloading Equipment to Port Performance tcount (2.052) >ttable (1.99962), Port Operational Costs to Port Performance (tcount (2.439) >ttable (1.99982), and Speed of Service Time to Port Performance (tcount (3.357) >ttable (1.99982)) has a positive and significant effect on Port Performance. The influence of the four research variables is very strong with the coefficient value The determination (R2) obtained is 58% on Port Performance and 42% is influenced by variables that are not detected in this study.
