Abstract
Driving safety is a state of avoiding everyone from the risk of accidents during traffic caused by humans, vehicles, roads and / the environment. Jalan Cisinga is a highway in Tasikmalaya district that connects Ciawi and Singaparna, the existence of this road facilitates the mobility of Tasikmalaya residents. This study aims to determine the effect of Rider Character, Road Conditions, Traffic Compliance and Vehicle Completeness Factors on Motorcycle Driving Safety on Jalan Raya Cisinga, Tasikmalaya Regency. The population in this study were motorcycle drivers who crossed the Cisinga highway and the sample used in this study was 100 respondents. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling incidental sampling type, then the data is analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of (software) Statistical Package For Social Science (SPSS) Version 25. The regression formulation in this study is as follows: Y = 1,735 + 0,291X1 + 0,335X2 + 0,256X3 + 0,247X4 + µ From this equation, it is known that the most dominant variable affecting driving safety is the road condition variable with a regression coefficient of 0.335. The R2 (R Square) test obtained results of 0.619 or 61.9%, which means that driving safety is influenced by the driver's character variable, road conditions, traffic compliance and vehicle completeness factors, which are 61.9% and other factors that affect bicycle riding safety. motorcycles on the Cisinga highway, which is 38.1%.
