Abstract
Indonesia is an archipelagic country whose two-thirds of its territory is waters and is located in a strategic location because it is a stopover for world trade routes. As an archipelagic country, the presence of adequate ports plays a major role in supporting the mobility of goods and people in this country. Ports are the most important infrastructure to connect between islands and between countries. This study aims to determine the effect of ship waiting time, loading and unloading productivity, and utilization of port facilities on port operational services in using port services at the Batam Batu Ampar port with a research sample of 100 respondents. The sampling technique used is Probability Sampling with Nonprability Sampling. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis, the data were analyzed using linear regression analysis coupled with the help of statistical package for social science (SPSS) software.The results of this study indicate that the variables of ship waiting time, loading and unloading productivity, and utilization of port facilities have a partial effect on port operational services at the Batam Batu Ampar port. The results of multiple linear regression obtained the equation Y = 3.238 + 0.410X1 + 0.184X2 + 0.221X3 +µ . From the results of the multiple regression, it can be seen that the variable waiting time for ships with a regression coefficient of 0.503. With the r- square test of 0.503 or 50.3%, which means that the satisfaction of port service users at the port of Batam Batu Ampar affects ship waiting time, loading and unloading productivity, and utilization of port facilities by 50.3% and other factors that affect customer satisfaction by 50. 7%.
