Abstract
Research based on facts in the field, namely the problems caused by Traffic Safety on the Suramadu Bridge which is very complex, ranging from accidents, order, comfort and behavior of drivers using the Suramadu Bridge, especially drivers of goods vehicles, causing traffic safety on the Suramadu bridge to be less good. Caused by several factors including the condition of the vehicle, road conditions, and driver behavior so that traffic problems occur such as accidents caused by goods car drivers who violate the rules and behave arbitrarily.Formulation of the problem, research objectives and hypotheses in this study is to analyze the positive and significant influence individually between the independent variables, namely vehicle conditions, road conditions, driver behavior on traffic safety on the Suramadu bridge. In this study, the object taken was the driver of a freight car crossing the Suramadu bridge. This data source includes secondary and primary data with as many as 100 respondents who are freight car drivers on the Suramadu bridge. Using the technical analysis of multiple linear regression equations with the tools of SPSS IBM V.25 which produces a regression equation Y= 0,533X1 +0,223X2+0,245X3+µ. Shows that there is a positive and partially significant effect between vehicle conditions on traffic safety (t count 2,580 > t table 1,98447), road conditions on traffic safety (t count 4,047 > t table 1,98447 ), driver behavior on safety traffic (t count 2,597 > t table 1,98447). The coefficient of determination gets the Adjusted R square value of 0.619%, thus 61.9% the remaining 38.1% (100% -61.9%) is caused by other factors.
