Abstract
The main discussion in writing about the service of clearance in and clearance out of ships at PT. Bahari Sandi Pratama Gresik branch. The background of the problem is about KM Sarana Anugerah. The purpose of writing this paper is to find out the agent process in ship clearance in and out ship services, documents needed in ship clearance in and out ship services, agencies involved in ship agency services, as well as obstacles and solutions. what is experienced in ship agency services. The methods used in writing this paper are observation, interviews, document studies, and literature studies. Based on the results of the discussion, it has been obtained that in the activities of clearance in and out of ships, agents play an important role in the smooth process of loading and unloading cement activities and handling ship documents. The conclusion of this discussion is that the agent plays an important role in the service activities of ship clearance in and out of the ship, as well as handling ship documents fro m the beginning of the ship's arrival to the ship's departure.
