Abstract
To achieve optimal execution of Raw Sugar payloads using Ship Crane. So in writing this Scientific Work, the author describes the implementation of the preparation for unloading Raw Sugar. Based on the background of the problems that have been stated, obstacles were found in the preparation and implementation of loading and unloading at MV. Bangpakew, namely the erratic weather and the small number of transportation fleets. So it can be concluded that before carrying out the unloading and lack of supervision at the time of loading resulted in the implementation of unloading Raw Sugar is not optimal. The author’s suggestion is that the company can anticipate the weather, and increase the number of transportation fleets and pay more attention to ship demand, so that the loading and unloading process is carried out as optimally as possible. To support the completion of this paper, the method used for the author is a qualitative descriptive method, while the collection methods used are interviews, observations, and literature related to cargo handling, especially during loading and unloading.
