Abstract
Agency is one of the activities of the Shipping Line that is in charge of managing and servicing the needs of ships, cargo and ship crews, one of them is by arranging ship license licensing. The writing of this paper was made to find out the procedure about the agency of the ship from the dock process until the ship left for the next port. The method used in solving problems with qualitative, quantitative methods, and also using observation, interview, literature study. The results of this paper are knowing the agency service procedures as a whole. The conclusion of this agency activity research is to find out the duties and responsibilities of agents, documents, handling when the ship arrives at the port, activities with related parties and constraints during the ship service process.
