Abstract

The main discussion in writing this paper is about the delivery service of commodity goods by PT. Global Expressindo there are several background problems that the author must solve, namely the procedure for shipping goods and the obstacles faced in the delivery of goods. PT. Gobal Bati Expresindo which is a company to serve the logistics business, especially in trucking where PT. Global Bati Expressindo provides cargo delivery services. The purpose of the writing of this paper is none other than to find out how the procedure for the delivery of commodity goods and to find out the constraints in these activities. Based on data collection that was carried out during land practice (Prada), the authors used several methods, namely, observation, interviews, and document studies and literature studies. The result of the discussion of this paper is the delivery of commodity goods using the services of PT. Global Bati Expressindo will run smoothly without a hitch if each party complies with the established procedures. Keyword : Procedure, Shipping and Trucking
