Abstract
Benoa Class II Port Authority and Harbormaster Office is a government agency under the Directorate General of Sea Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation that is capable of carrying out supervision, law enforcement in the field of safety and security. In realizing the creation of safety management on board, the harbormaster office has an obligation to ensure that every ship going to sail needs inspection in order to ensure ship safety and protection of the maritime environment. The parties involved in this process are the Benoa Class II Port Authority and Harbormaster Office. Ship inspection aims to ascertain whether ship safety management are in accordance with applicable regulations or not. The purpose of this paper is to supervise supervision and law enforcement in the field of safety and prevention of pollution by Harbormaster officers at the Benoa Class II Port Authority and Harbormaster Office. The method used in the paper uses field research, observation, and interviews. So it can be denied that the Harbormaster Office and Port Authority play an important role in realizing a good shipping system and it has been implemented according to procedures.
