Abstract
The main discussion in writing this paper is about the Ship and Goods Service Process by the Tanjung Perak Main Port Authority Office, Surabaya, East Java. The main problem that must be solved is the ship service carried out by the Tanjung Perak Surabaya Main Port Authority Office which is carried out by the General Sea Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation who carries out the regulatory function. As for this work, among others, is knowing how the process of servicing ships and goods. In this paper the author uses research methods, because it will be obtained in the form of information that is the source of the data. This study aims to carry out port services, especially services to ships and goods that are carried out continuously to improve their quality and quantity. Keywords: Service Process, Quality and Quantity Improvement.
