Abstract
The safety of shipping is very central in all aspects of the world of shipping and the needs of all parties. shipwrecks are still vulnerable to occur every year, because of the lack of an optimal shipping safety system. Waivers over cruise safety tend to increase economic and environmental costs such as reduced productivity, medical costs, pollution, environmental pollution, and inefficient energy use. This study aims to determine the effect of Vessel Traffic Service, ISM Code Implementation and Master's Responsibility, partially on the Safety of Shipping. The population in this study is the crew of the agency PT. Hai Agency Navigasi Indonesia with a research sample of 80 respondents. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling with the type of sampling, namely quota sampling. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis, then the data is analyzed using multiple linear regression. Based on the research results, it can be seen that the research model of t he multiple linear regression equation is: Y = 1.112 + 0.432 X1 + 0.297 X2 + 0.164 X3 + μ. From the regression equation, it can be seen that the most dominant variable affecting shipping safety is the Vessel Traffic Service (X1) variable with a regression coefficient of 0.432 and the R Square test obtained a result of 0.587 or 58.7%. This shows that the Shipping Safet y on the Agency Vessel of PT. Hai Agency Navigasi Indonesia is influenced by the variables of Vessel Traffic Service, Implementation of ISM Code and Responsibilities of the Master by 58.7%.
