Abstract
The bicycle lane is a special lane for bicycle users and non-human powered vehicles. The bicycle lane is separated from motorized vehicle traffic in order to improve traffic safety for cyclists. Separation of special lanes for bicycles from motorized vehicles can be in the form of physical separation or only by separation from road markings. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the effect of facilities, constraints and sustainable transportation related to bicycle lanes on Pandanaran Street, Semarang City. This study also aims to analyze the factors that have the most dominant influence on the bicycle lane on Pandanaran Street, Semarang City. This study uses quantitative methods, the population in this study are bicycle users and the sample technique used is incidental sampling of 75 respondents according to the data of bicycle users on Pandanaran Street, Semarang City. The analysis technique in this study uses multiple linear regression analysis. The regression formulation in this study is Y = 0,816+ 0,462.X1 + 0,204.X2 + 0,246.X3 + µ The results of multiple regression research indicate that there is a partially positive effect on the bicycle lane (t count 4,368> t table 1,98729), constraints on the bicycle lane (t count 2,215> t table 1,98729) and sustainable transportation on the bicycle lane (t count 3,278> t table 1,98729 ). From the regression equation, it can be seen that the most dominant variable affecting the bicycle lane is the facility with a regression coefficient of 0.462 and the coefficient of determination (Adjusted R Square = 0.500) means 50% while the rest (100%-50% = 50%) other variables outside the study or outside the regression equation model.
