Abstract
In order to support the safety of a agency officer in working ship sevice, so important to apply self-awareness to each agency office regarding the importance of using Personal Protective Equipment while working. This needs to be done, because the world of agency office is vulnerable to workplace accidents, while not all agency office have the ability to self-awareness. This certainly affects the number of work accidents that occur on board and in port. To prevent and reduce the occurrence of risk due to the negligence of the agency office who do not heed the use of Personal Protective Equipment while working ship service, each shipping company will monitor the crew's discipline in using Personal Protective Equipment while working ship service. The Branch Manager, as the company's leader and the high standing as well as the person in charge of ship safety and its contents are required to play an active role in trying to increase the awareness of the crew to be able and have the awareness to protect themselves from various dangerous conditions arising from work accidents , in the hope that the crew can understand the importance of using Personal Protective Equipment while working in port. One of the efforts that must be carried out by a company to increase the crew's self awareness is to cooperate with the high standing from each ship owned by the company. In this case, the leader can indicate the role and function, where the leader is a representative of the company.
