Abstract
The main discussion in writing this paper is about the loading and unloading process of windows ship at Tanjung Priok Port in handling containers by PT Salam Pacific Jakarta Branch. There are several backgrounds that the author must complete, namely the loading and unloading process of the porthole according to the schedule and the obstacles faced in loading and unloading container activities. PT. Salam Pacific Indonesia Lines Jakarta Branch which is a shipping company that specializes in shipping goods to all islands in Indonesia. The purpose of writing this paper is none other than to find out how the loading and unloading process of windows ship and to find out the obstacles in the loading and unloading process activities in the field. Based on data collection conducted during Pratik Darat (prada), the author uses several methods, namely observation, interviews, and document studies. . The results of this discussion can be concluded that PT Salam Pacific Indonesia Lines is engaged in shipping and containers where this company helps in managing the delivery of goods via sea transportation with containers, making it easier for customers to ship goods between islands in Indonesia. Although in loading and unloading activities there are still several factors that become obstacles in its implementation, the company makes every effort to run the loading and unloading process smoothly.
