Abstract
Thermal Oil Heater is one of the auxiliary aircraft that is the main source of heat onboard the ship, which is obtained from the results of combustion carried out by the burner that sprays fire in a tube whose flame is used to heat the coil/pipe that is fed with Thermal Oil Fluid. The importance of the need for heat on board is very high, both in terms of maintaining temperature or heating which is usually used for heating fuel and also space, in addition to this on some ships, especially tankers carrying Asphalt (Bitument) cargo, hot temperatures are needed to maintain the temperature in the cargo tank to remain at the appropriate temperature, which is between 110°C to 165°C. Because this load will harden if the temperature drops below 110°C, resulting in unloading at the port. In this case, it is very important to always try to maintain the temperature produced by the Thermal Oil Heater, both in terms of routine maintenance or fast handling if there is a decrease in heat production.
