Abstract

Sea transportation is one type of transportation that is currently very attention by the government, because it is considered to have potential value which is very high in development of the economic sector and sector social in the state of indonesia which consists of thousand of islands. Cooperation between countries in the exchange of the technology and the economy includes the export and import of goods, mostly by sea because the cost of transportation is much cheaper than by air. With the existence of shipping lanes, it will increase the level of trade which refers to the level of growth of the sea tarnsportation sector, so that this can be achieved, of course it must be balanced with good and effective shipping equality as possible. Many of the above loads cargo on board due to various factors, both internal and eksternal. The purpose of the writing this paper is to explain the obstacles that occur during the cargo handling. Methods of fafa collection using methods field research and literature methods using techniques observation, and interview techniques resulting from this paper are solutions clarify the constraints that occur during the cargo handling. Coal has a role as an alternative energy source in Indonesia and its role will increase in the future. With the development of coal utilization, it is necessary to estimate the existing coal resources so that coal mining activities can be more controlled. Estimating coal resources to be mined can be done by calculating the amount of coal resources. So far, the process of searching for information on the amount of coal resources is done manually, this allows for calculation errors and data collection errors. Therefore, we need an application to simplify the work and overcome these errors. Coal has played this very important role for centuries not only to generate electricity, but also to be the main fuel for the production of steel and cement, as well as other industrial activities. Coal resources provides a comprehensive overview of coal and its meaning for our lives. This review presents the process of coal formation, its mining, its use and its impact on society and the environment. This review outlines the important role of coal as an energy source and how important it is along with other energy sources in meeting the world's rapidly growing energy needs Keywords: Loading and unloading, coal, solustion
