Abstract
Contingency plan (CP) is the overall pleaning to prepare for unexpected events. The general purpose of this plan is to minimize the costs incurred and the impact that occurs due to unexpected events. The contingency plan is also used as a pattern for the system to deal with bad weather by preparing something to deal with bad weather at sea with the provision of weather information on a waters from the nearest coastal radio station info. Thus we can find out whether the 2 waters that we will sail are in good condition or not. So that we can anticipate all possibilities. Based on this, the author will discuss basic knowledge in general about any things in running the ship to safely arrive at the port of destination on Shipping as a Pattern and System in Facing Bad Weather on the KMP.
