Abstract
Shipping safety is influenced by several factors including the seaworthiness of the ship, shipping navigation aids and safety in the waters. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is an influence of seaworthiness of ships, shipping navigation aids at the fishing port of Tegalsari Beach, Tegalsari City. In this study, the research population is Shipping Safety at the Tegalsari Beach fishing port, Tegal City by taking a sample system of 100 respondents (samples). The variables in the study consisted of: Shipworthiness of ships (X1), Sailing Navigation Aids (X2) and the role of porters (X3) as well as related variables, namely Sailing Safety (Y). The research model is multiple liner regression analysis. he results of the analysis using the statistical tool SPSS V21 program obtained multiple linear regression equation Y = 2.493 + 0.305X1 + 0.226X2 + 0.258X3. The results of the multiple liner equation show that there is a positive and significant influence between the seaworthiness of the ship on shipping safety. ie 2,993 < 10.) (Sailing Navigation Aids, on Sailing Safety (0.298. The value is more than 0.10, namely 0.298 > 0.10 and the VIF value is 3.355. The value is less than 10, namely 3.355 < 10.) (Role Harbormaster on Shipping Safety is 0.782. This value is more than 0.10, namely 0.782 > 0.10 and the VIF value is 1.279. The value is less than 10, namely 1.279 < 10.) Individually, the seaworthiness of the ship, Shipping Navigation Assistance Facilities, the role of the porter has an effect on Sailing Safety The influence of the three research variables is very strong with a coefficient value (R square) obtained of 0.608. This value means that the total variation during Shipping costs with an average of 60.8% can be explained through the relationship between Ship's Seaworthiness, Shipping Navigation Aids and the Port Authority's Role on Shipping Safety.
