Abstract
The role of sea transportation is very important for the life of the Indonesian population. From an economic and business perspective, the use of transportation by ship is more effective and has great benefits. One of them is the arrival of the ship TB. CIPTA 2002 / BG. SATRIA 3002 at the port of Sluke Rembang. And the Rembang Class III Port Operator Unit Office plays an important role in the entry and exit of ships at the Rembang Port. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to provide an overview and understanding of the documents, related parties, processes and costs incurred in the arrival and departure of ships at the Rembang Class III Port Operator Unit Office. The data collection used in this paper is qualitative, namely data collection by means of descriptions in the form of words and language. The methods used include observation, documentation, interviews. In the process of handling ship arrivals, through PT. Samudra Adhi Jaya as the agency submitted the arrival documents to the Rembang Class III Port Management Unit Office. The process for managing ship arrivals at the Rembang Class III Port Operator Unit Office from the agency submits an arrival request to registration, then submits the ship arrival documents to the Sea Transportation Traffic section and after signing the arrival request report will be submitted back to the agent. Meanwhile, the ship's departure agent must submit the ship's arrival report document to the Sea Transportation Traffic section, then pay the ship's bills to Non-Tax State Revenue and take care of the Sailing Approval Letter at the Harbormaster section which will later be submitted to the agent. And the Rembang Class III Port Operator Unit Office is appropriate in serving the arrival and departure of TB. CIPTA 2002 / BG. SATRIA 3002. Keywords: Port Operator Unit, Arrival, Departure
