Abstract
PT. Pelayaran Tempuran Emas, Tbk (Temas Line) is one of the public companies in the shipping industry that is growing quite significantly. In realizing the creation of smoothness in document management, a web-based ship certificate document control application is designed. The parties involved in this process are the PT. Pelayaran Tempuran Emas, Tbk (Temas Line). In the company there is a process for checking the ship certificate document, which is the process of checking the expired date of the ship certificate document owned by the company. A ship is declared seaworthy if it is equipped with a ship safety certificate, a certificate of pollution from the ship, a load and loading line certificate, gross deed, sea letter / big pass / small pass / river and lake pass, a ship safety management certificate that is in accordance with the shipping area. The method used in this paper is to use field research, observation, and interviews. Then it can be concluded that the ship certificate function very influential in order to support the maritime affairs of the ship Keywords : Document, Certificate, Safety, Seaworthiness.
