Abstract
This research is motivated by the provision of sea transportation services that are better, safer, more effective, efficient during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as with a very large volume capacity or carrying capacity and relatively cheap prices. KM. Kelimutu is a means of sea transportation owned by PT. Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia (PELNI) Semarang branch operating for Semarang-Sampit-Kumai-Pontianak. This study aims to determine the effect of mandatory rapid tests, travel costs and safety on KM passenger decisions. Kelimutu. The population used in this study were KM passengers. Kelimutu, with a non-probability sampling method as many as 100 respondents. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with SPSS (Statistic Package for Social Sciences) version 23 tool. Based on the analysis results show that the regression equation is as follows. Y = 0.203 + 0.189 + 0.500 + 0.263 + . From the regression equation, it can be seen that the independent variable, namely mandatory rapid test with a regression coefficient of0.189 (X1), travel costs of 0.500 (X2), and safety 0.263 (X3) proved to have a positive and significant influence on the dependent variable, namely passenger decisions (Y) with travel cost variable has the highest influence than other variables. In the R2 (Adjusted R square) test, the result is 0.620 or 62%, which means that passenger decisions are influenced by the mandatory rapid test, travel costs, and security variables, which are 62%. Other factors that influence passenger decisions are 38% such as delays, operational, and others. The conclusion of this study shows that mandatory rapid tests, travel costs and security partially affect the decisions of KM passengers. Kelimutu route Semarang- Sampit.
