Abstract
The safety of loading and unloading workers is influenced by several factors including Job Training, Occupational Health, Personal Protective Equipment and Worker Behavior. Of the four, they have an important role in improving the safety of loading and unloading workers with satisfactory results. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an effect of Job Training, Occupational Health, Personal Protective Equipment and Worker Behavior on the Safety of Loading and Unloading Workers at Jamrud Terminal Tanjung Perak Surabaya. In this study, the research population data collection using literature study and questionnaires the Safety of Loading and Unloading Workers at the Jamrud Tanjung Perak Terminal Surabaya by taking a sample system with a total of 75 respondents (samples). The variables in the study consisted of: The independent variable was Job Training (X1), Occupational Health (X2), Personal Protective Equipment (X3) and Workforce Behavior (X4) and the dependent variable was Loading and Unloading Workforce Safety (Y). The research analysis using linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis with the statistical tool SPSS 25 program obtained multiple linear regression equation : Y = -0.984 + 0.267X1 + 0.399X2 + 0.296X3 + 0.107X4 + µ. The results of the multiple linear equations show that there is a positive and significant influence between Job Training on the Safety of Loading and Unloading Workers (t count 2,025 > t table of 1,99394), Occupational Health on Loading and Unloading Workforce Safety (t count 3.351 > t table of 1.99394), Personal Protective Equipment for the Safety of Loading and Unloading Workers (t count 3.142 > t table of 1.99394), Personal Worker Behavior towards the Safety of Loading and Unloading Workers (t count 2.205 > t table of 1.99394), Individually Job Training, Occupational Health, Personal Protective Equipment and Workforce Behavior affect the Safety of Loading and Unloading Workers. The influence of the four research variables is very strong with the coefficient value (R Square) obtained by 46.6% on the Safety of Loading and Unloading Workers and 53.4% influenced by variables that were not detected in this study.
