Abstract

The subscription parking program is a program provided by the Blitar Regency Transportation Service to the community in handling parking in the Blitar Regency area by providing taxpayers to the community once a year when paying the annual motor vehicle tax. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the Blitar Regency Transportation Service in implementing the subscription parking program in the Wlingi District, Blitar Regency. with the aim of knowing the public's understanding of the running subscription parking program, This study uses qualitative methods and uses data collection by interview, observation and data collection using an open-ended questionnaire. The benefits of this research are as a consideration and benchmark for the Blitar Regency Transportation Service in an effort to improve the smoothness of the subscription parking program and indirectly participate in socializing the subscription parking program to the public, as well as improving the performance of parking attendants because in this study it also reminds about the duties and rules of parking attendants in accordance with applicable regulations. The results of this study are to determine the level of public knowledge about what and how the subscription parking program runs also provides an indirect understanding to the public in general. pour out all the complaints of the community and parking attendants about the program including the lack of official parking attendants in the Wlingi District, Blitar Regency.
