Abstract
Indonesia is the largest maritime country in the world, 2/3 of Indonesia's territory is a sea area. In the field of sailing safety must have extra careful systems and working methods for the safety and security of what you carry, both passengers and goods. This study aims to see the effect of the Port Operation, Equipment, and ISM Code partially on shipping safety. The population in this study were all employees at KSOP Tanjungpinang and the sample used was to take the entire population of 100 employees at KSOP Tanjungpinang. The analytical method used in this research is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis, then the data is analyzed using with the help of (software) Statistic Package For Social Science (SPSS). Hypothesis test results show that the variables of the Port Operation, Equipment, and ISM Code partially on shipping safety. The results of multiple linear regression analysis obtained Y = 0,833 + 0,223X1 + 0,460X2 + 0,245X3 + µ. From this equation, it is known that the most dominant variable that affects the shipping safety is Ship Safety Equipment variable with a regression coefficient of 0.460. The R2 (R square) test resulted in a result of 0.619 or 61.9%, which means that shipping safety is equal to the variables of Port Operation, Ship Safety Equipment, and ISM Code, namely 61.9% and other factors that affect shipping safety, namely 39.1 %.
