Abstract
Tanjung Perak Port in Surabaya is currently the choice of public especially in east java to use sea transportation service, because in addition to transporting in large numbers also travel long distances. Container flow through the port of Tanjung Perak Surabaya is increasing. This can be seen from the growth of container loading and unloading (containers) from year to year. To anticipate the surge in demand for shipping goods through the port of Tanjung Perak in Surabaya, then facilities and infrastructure at the port must be considered because this will directly affect the performance of the port. Dwelling time or sometimes called waiting time for loading and unloading containers at the port is a classic problem that cannot be solved in Indonesia.The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the independent variable on the depenent variable. With a population of TKBM employee (Unloading and Loading Labor) PT. Port Of Indonesia III Tanjung Perak Surabaya and taken as many as 80 respondents.With non-probability sampling technique incidental sampling type, data collection using a questionnaire, data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis techniques including validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, and hypotehesis test. This research was assisted by data processing program SPSS 25.0. From the research result, the SPSS result are obtained as follows : Y = -1,150 + 0,408 X1 + 0,318 X2 + 0,350X3 + µ From research result there is a relation between independent variable with dependent variable. Hypothesis testing use the t test shows that the three independent variable namely the loading and unloading factor (X1), good tracking (X2), custum clearance (X3) researched proved variable (X1,X2 and X3 ) positive and significant effect on dependent variable namely Dwelling Time (Y), and loading unloading variable factor (X3) has the custom clearance (6,227) than the other variable in influencing passenger decision factor. On the coefficient of determination test (R Square) the value of Adjust R square aqual to 0,575 that is 57,5% variations in Dwelling Time dependent variable can be explained by free loading and unloading variables, tracking of goods and natural conditions. While the remaining 42,5% explained by other causes outside the researched variable. Keywords : Loading Unloading, Goods Tracking, and Custom clearance.
