Abstract
Transportation is the lifeblood that plays a very big role in supporting the wheels of national development. One means of sea transportation is sea transportation in the form of a ship which is a very vital means of transportation for carrying passengers, goods and vehicles. This study aims to determine the effect of Import Documents, Delivery Time, and Type of Goods partially on the Smoothness of Imported Goods at PT. Samudera Perdana Selaras. The population in this study was taken from the employees of PT. Samudera Perdana Selaras and the sample used in this study were 112 respondents. The sampling technique used was probability sampling with the type of sampling, namely Simple Random Sampling. The analytical method used in this research is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis, then the data is analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of (software) Statistic Package for Social Science (SPSS). Hypothesis test results indicate that the variables Import Documents, Delivery Time, and Type of Cargo partially affect the Smoothness of Imports of Goods at PT. Samudera Perdana Selaras. The results of multiple linear regression analysis obtained Y = 2.196 + 0.3237X1 + 0.140X2 + 0.291X3+µ. From this equation, it is known that the variable that has the most dominant influence on the Smoothness of Import of Goods is the Import Document variable with a regression coefficient of 0.323. The R2 (R square) test results in 0.525 or 52.5%, which means that the smooth import of goods at PT. Samudera Perdana Selaras is influenced by variables of Import Documents, Delivery Time, and Type of Cargo, namely 52.5% and other factors that affect Shipping Safety at PT. Samudera Perdana Selaras amounted to 47.5%. Keywords: Import Documents, Delivery Time, Type of Load and Smoothness of Imports of Goods
