Abstract
The phenomenon in the field shows that the performance of the employees of the Semarang City Transportation, Communication and Informatics Service has not been fully implemented properly. For example optimizing vehicle KIR tests to improve transportation services, complete traffic signs, optimize bus terminal functions, and rehabilitate as well as maintain LLAJ infrastructure and facilities. This is due to the existence of factors both internal and external which make the achievement of performance targets not yet able to be completed properly.The research sampling technique where each research element has the same probability to be selected. The research technique uses the census method, namely the entire population as a sample of 65 people. There are employees at the Office of Transportation, Communication, and Information Technology Semarang City. and the data analysis technique used in this research is SPSS 16 Based on the first hypothesis states that the work environment (x1) is known to have t count (2.626) > t table (1.67022) and sig (0.011) < 0.05, then the work environment variable (x1) has an effect on performance (Y) Based on the second hypothesis states that work stress (x2) is known to t count (2.030) > t table (1.67022) and sig (0.047) < 0.05, then the work stress variable (x2) affects performance (Y) Based on the third hypothesis states that motivation work (x3) is known t arithmetic (2.225) > t table (1.67022) and sig (0.030) < 0.05, then the work motivation variable (x2) affects performance (Y) Keywords: work environment, work stress, work motivation on performance
