Abstract
Traffic congestion problems often occur in areas that have a very high intensity of activity, land use and population. Traffic jams often occur due to high traffic volume, which is caused by the continuous mixing of traffic. The nature of traffic jams is a routine and common occurrence and affects the use of resources. In addition, traffic jams can also disrupt activities in the surrounding environment, for example, congestion can affect the smooth running of socio-economic activities in an Industrial Estate. This study uses data collection methods in the form of observations carried out directly in the field, literature study, documentation and questionnaire methods. In this study, the author uses qualitative and quantitative data analysis, where the statistics found in the study are described or described as they are, then presented in the form of numbers which are then interpreted in a description. Shows that, Based on empirical data (the results of filling out the questionnaire) and multiple linear regression results indicate that the Traffic Volume variable (X1) has a positive influence on traffic congestion, where the value of tcount is 2,205 > ttable 1,985. The Side Barrier Variable (X2) has a positive effect on traffic congestion where the value of tcount is 2,952 > ttable 1,985. The variable road capacity (X3) also has a positive influence on traffic congestion, having a tcount of 5.374 > ttable of 1.985. Thus the results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant influence between Traffic Volume, Side Obstacles, Road Capacity on Traffic Congestion.
