Abstract
The author's background in conducting this research is contrary to the problems encountered at the research location, namely illegal parking on the Jatibarang - Slawi road, Tegal Regency, which is a traffic problem, especially congestion, disrupting traffic flow and becoming an unruly road. The research that the author is doing here is quantitative research, which is data in the form of numbers or numbers that can be processed or analyzed using mathematical calculations and statistics. In this study, I used research, namely the distribution of questionnaires to parking attendants on Jalan Jatibarang - Slawi, Tegal Regency. In collecting the data needed, the writer uses the technique of Questionnaires, Interviews, Literature Studies and Documentation. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the lack of supervision, law enforcement, low awareness of illegal parking on the Jalan Jatibarang – Slawi, Tegal Regency. Simple Random Sampling and using the Probablitity Sampling method. Analysis using SPSS V.22 which includes, validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing through t test, and analysis of the coefficient of determination (R²). From the analysis obtained the regression equation: Y = 3.402 + 0.291.X1 + 0.266.X2 + 0.236.X3 + µ Low awareness shows the largest regression coefficient. Low awareness is the most important factor affecting illegal parking. The second important factor is lack of supervision as the third factor. Law enforcement that affects illegal parking. The coefficient of determination (Adjusted R2) of 0.508 or 50.8% means that the coefficient of determination model is quite good. The three independent variables in this study can explain the role or contribution of 50.8% together which can explain the dependent variable, namely the wild parking variable, while the remaining 49.2% is explained by other variables outside of the three variables. used in this study. Keywords: lack of supervision, law enforcement, low awareness and illegal parking.
