Abstract
Indonesia is one of the countries with the largest population in the world. Big cities in Indonesia are the focal point of community activities. During rush hour in big cities, traffic jams often occur, this is a routine that has been used to happen from year to year. One of the solutions taken by the government to overcome congestion is to create Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) a means of mass transportation that is better, orderly, safe, effective, efficient, and affordable. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the independent variables, namely facilities, tariffs, and timeliness on the dependent variable, namely user decisions on BRT Trans Semarang corridor VII. The population in this study were all users of the Trans Semarang BRT Corridor VII service and the sample in this study was 100 respondents with the technique used was a non-probability sampling technique, namely by using incidental sampling, incidental sampling is a sampling technique based on chance, namely anyone who coincidentally / incidentally met with the researcher can be used as a sample, if it is deemed that the person who happened to be met is suitable as a data source. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis, the data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of (Software) Statistical Package For Social Science (SPSS) version 21. The results of the research by testing the t-test hypothesis showed that Facilities, Tariffs, and Punctuality had a positive and significant effect on the decisions of Trans Semarang BRT users. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that the research model of the multiple linear regression equation is Y = 3.996 + 0.250X1 + 0.340X + 0.143 + . From the multiple regression results, it can be seen that the most dominant variable influencing user decisions is the Tariff variable with a regression coefficient of 0.296. With the r square test of 0.274 or 27.4%, which means that the increase in purchasing decisions on the Trans Semarang BRT corridor VII is influenced by facilities, tariffs and timeliness which is 27.4% and other factors that influence the increase in the decisions of users of the Trans Semarang BRT corridor VII by 72.6%.
