Abstract
Waiting time for ships is one of the problems that always gets serious attention in every country, especially regarding sea transportation. Sea transportation is a meeting point for areas that are far from the center of activity, especially in supporting economic activities. With the port, economic activities can become smoother, most of the export and import goods are sent by sea because the number of goods that can be transported by ships is more than the number of goods that can be transported by other fleets. If the port's performance is less than optimal, it will have a direct impact on services so that it will cause new problems, namely the waiting time for ships to be higher, so it will cause high costs, which have a direct impact on the prices of goods on the market. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the Availability of Piers, Productivity of loading and unloading, and Document Services on Ship Waiting Time (Study at Terminal PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia II Persero Branch Dwikora Pontianak). This research was conducted at Dwikora Terminal as a sample. Data was collected through observation, literature study, interviews, documentation and questionnaires. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS V.25 program. Based on the results of research and multiple analysis, the following equations are generated: Y = 0,239 - 0,275X1 -0,368 X2 -0,325 X3 + Based on empirical facts (the results of filling out the questionnaire) and the results of multiple linear regression equations indicate that the Wharf Availability variable (X1) has (tcount 2,082 > ttable 1,99346), the Unloading Productivity variable (X2) (tcount 3.155 > ttable 1.99346), and the Document Service variable (X3) (tcount -3.558 > ttable 1.99346). As for the value of Adjusted R2 = 0.463. This means that 46.3% of the variation in the dependent variable (Y), namely ship waiting time can be explained or caused by the independent variables, namely Pier Availability (X1), Loading and Unloading Productivity (X2), and Document Service (X3). While the remaining 100% - 46.3% = 53.7%, explained by reasons other than the variables studied.
