Abstract
Road performance is a quantitative measurement that describes certain conditions that occur on a road segment. Generally, in assessing a road performance, it can be seen from the capacity, degree of saturation (DS), average speed, travel time, delays and queues through a study of road segment performance. Qualitative measures that explain operational conditions in traffic flow and drivers' perceptions of driving quality are expressed by the level of service on the roads. The good performance of a road network greatly affects the development of a city. When the road network has a good road network performance. So, many benefits will be obtained by the community. This study aims to determine whether pedestrian facilities, on-street parking, and trading activities can affect road performance on the Pandanaran segment, Semarang City, Central Java. The sample in this study amounted to 100 respondents using the Nonprobability Sampling technique with the type of sampling, namely Purposive Sampling. The data analysis used in this research is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis, data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of (software) Statistical Package For Social Science (SPSS) version 25. The results of the research by partially testing the t-test hypothesis show that pedestrian facilities, on-street parking, and trading activities have a positive and significant effect on road performance. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that the research model obtained from the results of the multiple linear regression equation is Y = α + b1X1 + b2X2 + b3X3 + µ Y = 0,252 + 0,176X1 + 0,194X2 + 0,579X3 + µ The results of the multiple linear regression equation show that there is a positive and partially significant effect between pedestrian facilities on road performance (t count = 2,052 > t table = 1,98472), on-street parking on road performance (t count = 2,339 > t table = 1,98472), trading activity on road performance (t count = 5,826 > t table = 1,98472). Meanwhile, from the results of the significant equation test (F test) the value (F count = 53,830 > F table = 2,70) and the influence of the three research variables is very strong, as evidenced by testing the coefficient of determination (R2 test) with Adjusted R Square value. = 0,616 (61,6%).
