Abstract
The refrigerator of a refrigeration device that is very important is used to maintain the stability of the fish load on the Fishing Vessel Utomo Tambah Mulyo – 3. To maintain the quality of the load of fish on the ship so that it remains in good condition, it is necessary to have a refrigerator engine that remains stable. Many problems occur in the cooling machine, such as: cooling the condenser is always lacking so the condenser gets hot, the freon runs out quickly, and the expantion valve is less optimal. The purpose of this paper is to find out how to deal with damage to the condenser cooling machine and several factors that cause damage to the expansion valve. In this case, it can be concluded that the cause of damage to the cargo of fish due to damage to the engine components is one of them on the condenser and expansion valve. And it is recommended to always carry out regular checks and maintenance on the components of the engine coolant. Key word : Refrigerator, interference, maintenance, fish load.
