Abstract
Boiler machine is one of the main machines used in the process of plywood processing. The machine serves to produce steam that is channeled to the wood dryer room or commonly called the oven room. In the use of boiler machine is required boiler water components to operate the machine, which water that has been accommodated will then be heated and produce hot steam and distributed to several parts through pipes. Boiler water treatment is needed in order to prevent corrosion and can maximize the performance of boiler machines. In this writing the author uses qualitative descriptive data collection method, where the compiler looks for data on boiler performance and boiler water maintenance in order to maximize its performance in plywood plant CV. Cipta Usaha Mandiri. In water treatment boilers can be done by external or internal means. External Treatment is everything that is done on all boiler support systems (boiler-related systems) while internal maintenance with conditioning boiler water with chemical treatment and other arrangements with the aim that corrosion and deposit can be avoided.
