Abstract
Handling of Soybean Meal Imports at the Marine Freight Forwarding Company (EMKL) PT. Raja Abadi Samudera Raya is the subject of discussion in this paper. The author aims to explain the process of managing Imports of Soybean Meal (US Hipro Soybean Meal) using the Single Submission (SSM) System. There are several problems that the author must solve, namely the flow of Handling Soybean Meal Imports from the arrival of the Document until the Container is returned to the Depot, the operation of several Systems, the Documents used, the relevant agencies and various obstacles encountered. PT. Raja Abadi Samudera Raya is a Company that Handles Export and Import activities of various Commodities, with the largest activity being serving the import of Soybean Meal Commodities from PT. Gerbang Cahaya Utama. The activity starts from receiving documents from the importer until the goods can be out and sent to the Importer's Warehouse. The purpose of this research paper is to find out the Import Handling process from beginning to end. The author collects several methods to collect data during the Land Practice (Prada), Some of the methods used by the author are, Observation, Interview, and Study of Documents and Literature Study. The result of the discussion of this paper is that a discussion of handling imports from beginning to end can provide an overview of how the import activities are carried out.
