Abstract
This paper was compiled to find out how activities are related to the ship agency service process from the time the ship arrives at the port to the port of destination, and to find out the duties of agency officers and what procedures are carried out to handle agency ships that dock during a pandemic. in addition, also to find out the costs arising from ship operations at the port. Data were obtained through interview data collection methods from shipping companies, direct observation and review of regulations in the shipping sector. This paper focuses on the officers of PT Pelayaran Kanaka Lines in carrying out agency services in supporting ship services during this pandemic. The purpose of this paper was compiled to find out ship agency activities, health procedures to avoid Covid 19, compare and integrate the theory obtained during lectures and the factors that support the implementation of ship agency services. The results of the paper show that coordination, communication and cooperation between shipping agents and related agencies must be well established. Implementation of Clearance in/out of ships must be in accordance with applicable procedures. All costs arising from ship activities at the port must be calculated in accordance with applicable regulations and reported to the General Agent or to the owner Keywords : Shipping Agent , Covid 19, Clearance in Clearance out
