Abstract
In this study, four research variables were analyzed: weather, crew, and ship technical as independent variables that affect the dependent variable, namely ship accidents. Formulation of the problem, research objectives and hypotheses in this study is to analyze the positive and significant influence individually between the independent variables, namely weather, crew and ship engineering on the dependent variable, namely ship accidents. In this study, the objects taken were KSOP Benoa employees and ship crews. Data sources include primary and secondary data. The sample in this study were 100 respondents who were KSOP Benoa employees and ship crews. The data analysis technique is multiple linear regression technique and with the statistical tool SPSS20.0, based on the results of research and data analysis, the regression equation: Y = 1.051 + 0.188 X1 + 0.498 X2 + 0.241 X3 + μ. The results of the multiple linear regression equation show that there is a positive and partially significant effect between weather on ship accidents (t count = 2,355 > t table 1,98498), crew on ship accidents (t count = 6.756 > t table = 1,98498 ) and ship technical against ship accidents (t count 3.464 > t table 1.98498) while the coefficient of determination (Adjust R square ) is 0.507. This means that the variables of Weather, Crew and Ship Technical have a contribution of 50.7% in influencing ship accidents. Meanwhile, other factors that affect shipping safety are 49.3%. Based on the analysis carried out, it was concluded that the crew was in the first place of the three variables that influenced the ship accident variable at KSOP Benoa Bali, then from hypothesis testing which stated that it was suspected that weather, crew and ship technical had a positive and significant effect on ship accidents at KSOP Benoa Bali has been proven true.
