Abstract
Due to the differences in each country in producing mainstay commodities. each country cannot be separated from trading activities with other countries. EMKL companies have the opportunity to carry out their business activities to handle imports of goods from other countries. This paper describes the handling of imports of soyabean meal belonging to PT. FKS Multi Agro by PT. Prime Harmonious Ocean. The purpose of writing this paper is to know the process of handling imported soyabean meal. And the completeness of the documents needed in the process of handling imports of soyabean meal commodities until they are received by the importer PT.FKS Multi Agro. The duties and responsibilities of the EMKL company start from receiving documents from the importer, checking imported soyabean meal imported commodities by the agricultural quarantine center until the goods arrive at the importer's warehouse. Based on data collection conducted during observation, the authors used several methods of observation, interviews, and document study and literature study. The result of the discussion of this paper is the process of controlling the import of soyabean meal by PT. Samudera Perdana in harmony with Semarang. The results of the problems that the author brings in this paper have been resolved by a method that is in accordance with the purpose of the paper to determine the process of handling imports of soyabean meal commodities.
