Abstract
The purpose of the writing of Scientific Writing is ti know how the effect of turn around time to speed dischsrge at TPKS, any problem that occur during the activity process. The methods used by the author, held field observations, interviews, and literature. From the result of the discussion, it was pbtained: 1. Less skilled of the CC oprator to discharge the cargo because lack of knowledge and the motivation the solution is give the practice and motivation to all employee, 2. The planner is not consistent to determin the position of discharge at the CY because the CY is full because the yard tally overdue to report the condition of CY so the planner can’t make sure the availabel space of CY to make sure the planner, 3. To many fleet of head truck broken because less maintenance so the solution is the company should do the maintenance so the head truck periodically and the company should do the renovation to every head truck.
