Abstract

Sea transportation facilities are very important to connect the islands scattered throughout Indonesia. One of the means of sea transportation in the form of ships. A shipping company operates its ships from one port to another, so that the shipping company must take care of the ship operated at the time at the port he visited. Activities take care of all the needs of the ship from the beginning of berthing ship to the time of unberthing. The purpose of the observation made by the author is to find out the process of berthing and unberthing KM. Mutiara Barat and loading and unloading readiness at Tanjung Emas Pier Semarang. The type of observation the author uses is descriptive. This observation took place at PT Atosim Lampung Pelayaran Semarang Branch. Data sources are obtained from sources, events or activities, documents and archives. The process of berthing and unberthing KM.
