Abstract
Chilled Water Plant AC system to support comfort on board. The Chilled Water Plant AC system is used to maintain clean air conditions. The formulation of the problem in this paper is how to operate and maintain AC and how to solve the problem. Another goal is to find the cause of the damage that often occurs in AC Chilled Water Plant machines. The damage that often occurs is damage to the compressor, condenser, evaporator and leaks in the AC system. The treatment starts from checking the temperature, lubricating it and replacing it accordingly. The occurrence of a leak in the pipe joints has an impact on the AC not being cold. Repair leaking pipes by patching them with copper welding. Writing this paper is done by means of observation, documentation, interviews and literature. Lack of maintenance causes the AC Chilled Water Plant not to function properly. The failure of the compressor, the leak of the evaporator, and the leaking of the pipe are the causes. Repair and maintenance of AC Chilled Water Plant must be done according to the instruction manual book. AC Chilled Water Plant maintenance is done regularly and periodically.
