Abstract
Towing winch is a kind of auxiliary equipment in ships that serves to pull heavy loads that are operated by means of a system control. This system adopts a pressurized hydraulic system as the power to drive the hydraulic pump piston, so that it can lift and drag heavy loads onto the ship. In addition, towing winches can make ship or barge withdrawals using wire rope.The rotating motion of the winch is the result of a rotating motion from the source of the driving force. In general, the use of towing winch on ships supply or tug boats to assist shipping operations and for the withdrawal of ships or the withdrawal of heavy loads, on average using a winch motor driving force in the form of hydraulic oil pressure.
