Abstract
Indonesia is an archipelago that has more than 17,000 islands with a total area of 735,355 square miles. Without adequate sea transportation facilities, it will be difficult to connect all regions in the islands. Tanjungpinang Port is a class II port based on Minister of Transportation Regulation No. 36 of 2012 concerning the Organization and Work Procedures of the Port Authority and Port Authority. Commercially managed port by PT. Pelindo 1 (Persero) Tanjungpinang Branch. The functions of regulation, control and supervision are carried out by the Office of Harbor and Port Authority Class II Tanjungpinang. Tanjungpinang Harbor is located at 00º-55 '-55 ’’ North Latitude and 104º-26’-50 ’’ East Longitude which is located in Tanjung Pinang City, Riau Islands Province. The Port of Sri Bintan Pura Tanjungpinang serves to serve the ups and downs of passengers both domestically and internationally, considering that Riau Islands Province has a sea area that reaches 96%. This study aims to determine the effect of Ksop responsibilities, sailing approval letters and seaworthiness on the shipping safety of the passenger port of Sri Bintan pura Tanjung Pinang. This study also aims to analyze the factors that have the most dominant influence on shipping safety. This research was conducted by questionnaire method for 60 captain or chief officer passenger ship. The analysis technique in this study uses multiple linear regression analysis. The formulation of regression in this study is as follows : Y =11,102+0,133X1+0,127X2+0,153X3+µ The results of the multiple regression research show that there is a partially positive influence of ksop responsibility on shipping safety (t count 2.611> t table 2.00247), sailing approval letter on shipping safety (t count 2.241> t table 2.00247) and shipworthiness on shipping safety (t count 2.543> t table 2.00247). The influence of the three research variables is very strong with the adjusted correlation value R2 = 0.171.
