Abstract

This research is motivated by urban transportation or known as urban transportation which is increasing from year to year, thus it also requires supervision and science to find solutions in terms of increasing comfort, safety, and smoothness in driving and traffic without any. disturbance, especially in Pedurungan District, Semarang City. In this case, the increasing urban transportation or urban transportation, especially in the Pedurungan sub-district, Semarang city, requires more research so that the facilities and infrastructure are up and running sustainably. This study aims to determine whether the choice of mode, network loading, travel distribution can affect urban transportation in Pedurungan District, Semarang City, Central Java. The sample in this study amounted to 130 respondents with simple random sampling technique with the type of sampling, namely Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. Data analysis used in this research is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis, data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis with help (software) Statistic Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 24. The results of the research by partially testing the t-test hypothesis show that mode choice, network loading, and travel distribution have a positive and significant effect on urban transportation. Based on the research results it can be seen that the research model of the multiple linear regression equation is Y = -1,284 + 0,463X1 + 0,269X2 + 0,377X3 + µ The results of the multiple linear regression equation show that there is a partially positive effect between the choice of mode on urban transportation (t count = 5.555> t table 1.97867), network loading on urban transportation (t count = 3.626> t table = 1.97867) , the trip distribution (t count = 5.818> table = 1.97867).
