Abstract

An emergency is a situation other than normal conditions that have a tendency or potential to be dangerous, both for human safety, property and the environment. Emergency procedures are procedures / work guidelines in dealing with an emergency, with the aim of preventing or reducing further or greater losses. Accidents on a ship can occur at any time during a voyage, whether it is at anchor or is carrying out loading and unloading activities at the port even though efforts have been made to avoid it. The purpose of this research is to determine the application of training in the use of safety equipment by the crew of MV. Baruna Maju is it in accordance with SOLAS 1974 or not. The data collection method uses field research methods and library methods using observation techniques and interview techniques. The result of this paper is that training on the use of safety equipment by the crew of MV.
