Abstract
Indonesia is an archipelago with an area of oceans that exceeds the land area. Geographically, Indonesia is located between two continents and two oceans, and has a large wealth of natural resources. As an archipelago, Indonesia is also known as a maritime country. Therefore, PT. Adiguna Putera Jepara is a company formed to secure coal transportation to PLTU owned by PLN. In the unloading activity of coal, there are still problems or problems in the section: belt conveyor, ship unloader (crane). Therefore, the unloading time of coal cannot be effective and efficient. With a way to overcome these obstacles, it is hoped that there will always be improvements in the field of coal unloading systems by adiguna ark companies and also PBM who take care of unloading coal at the PLTU. Optimizing coal unloading activities so that the tools used do not have problems during the unloading. The method used when doing (Prada) is through observation, interviews, and library research. Demolition activities can run smoothly with maintenance for the tools used when unloading coal so that there are no obstacles when burning coal at PLTU Tanjung Jati B.
