Abstract

Various life-threatening emergency could occur anytime, anywhere. Unpredictable nature often become human barriers to endure a situation. To maximize the existing equipment/sources is very important. The purpose of this study is to know about the procedures and mechanism of rescue in the event of an emergency, especially on the vessel. The data collecting method used were methods of data collection ether observation, interview, and library research as well as direct observation in the office of BASARNAS Bandung. The result of this study is that using procedures and mechanism on rescue man over board and increase the chance to survive. Keywords : Procedures, Mechanism, Search.
