Abstract

Purifier is a type of auxiliary aircraft used to separate fuel or lubricating oil with other fluids of various types. This is to be able to clean the fuel from liquid dirt. The purpose of this paper is to: 1) To find out the maintenance, what to do with DO (Diesel Oil) cleaners, 2) To find out the operating procedures, DO (Diesel Oil) purifier, 3) To find out how to deal with over flow, in DO (Diesel) Oil) purifier. In this paper, the authors use qualitative and quantitative data types. In collecting written data using the observation method. in the field, interviews, literature studies, documentation and collection of images related to the object of research on the purifier. Meanwhile, the separation process using a bowl arrangement is much more effective and efficient. The working principle of the purifier is to use the centrifugal force generated from the high rotation of the motor to rotate the bowl. To maintain the performance of the Purifier, maintenance and checking is necessary. Purifier is very important because in the fuel system and also the performance of the diesel engine, maintenance and checks need to be done so that the fuel used for aircraft engines can work properly. Maintenance includes: motor / electromotor maintenance, and lubricating oil maintenance. After routine maintenance, any treatment results will be detected, such as: Keeping the Fuel Oil Purifier working optimally, avoiding heavier / bigger damage, minimizing damage to the Fuel Oil Purifier.
