Abstract

The progress of Indonesian transportation is grow really fast following the era. Especially transportation on the sea that involve transporting cargo or other load, it has change and grow, with presence of Container, a new technology to pack the loads. But when unload the Container usually trouble appear and delaying the process of unloading. And the purpose researcher from doing all this research is for know about preparation in carrying out loading and loading, know about what agencies are involved in the loading and loading, as well What are the obstacles that are often faced in the loading and unloading process of containers and how to overcome them so that there are no delays. Research about unloading the Container, there are many factors that affect the speed of loading and unloading, Such as determining the loading and unloading method that is not right because the division of labor operational tasks has not been carried out correctly, and the maintenance of loading and unloading equipment is not optimal, so that loading and unloading activities are hampered and require a long time. To prevent those troubles we have to pay attention to the factors that affect the speed of unloading process correctly and doing the right method when doing the Loading process, so training was needed, knowledge and comprehension of the worker when they do their job, divide the jobs to the workers correctly and increasing the number of the needed gear, and treat the unloading gears optimally, so the unloading process will run smooth, fast and save.
